Vladimir Putin: "Georgian people in hard situation"

As APA informs, Russian President Vladimir Putin, who was on his visit to Azerbaijan, told that at briefing held after meeting with President Ilham Aliyev.

Putin compared the financial situation of Georgians of Soviet time and noted that at then their well-being was above the average level all over the Union: "But now they live in difficult condition."

Putin also noted that consultation between Iran and Russia on enrichment of uranium was not an easy talk: "But I hope that for solution of the problem we shall reach consensus."

The president of Russia said that during his meeting with Ilham Aliyev they had discussions on this matter.
