Erdogan: "Our main objective is to achieve putting in operation of the Baku-Tbilisi-Arzurum gas pipeline till the end of the year"

Turkish Prime Minister Rajab Tayyip Erdogan made this statement during a joint press-conference held after a meeting with the Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Nogaydeli being on a visit in Turkey.

Erdogan noted that the key objective of the cooperation between Turkey and Georgia is to secure transportation of gas of Turkmenistan to Turkey through the Caspian Sea and also informed that first oil had already entered the territory of Georgia by means of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline and will reach Ceyhan port soon, APA reports.
