Issue on recognizing NIPA causes diversity of opinions in "YeS"

According to him, no decision was made to recognize this or that wing at the last meeting of the Coordination Council of the bloc: "We simply reaffirmed that which side wants to work with us; we will cooperate with that side. Thus far Etibar Mammadov has not said whether they he will continue cooperation with us or not."

Member of Coordination Council, MP Vahid Ahmadov also told APA that no decision was made regarding NIPA: "Only discussion was held regarding this issue. We concluded that Ali Aliyev has already decided to cooperate with Azadlig bloc. But Etibar Mammadov has not taken a stance yet. Concrete and official decision will be made at the next meeting of Coordination Council tomorrow."

Another member of Coordination Council Eldaniz Guliyev also told APA that any decision was not made at the meeting: ""YeS" bloc decided to participate in the reelections. We can make decision about Etibar Mammadov if they also decide to join reelections."

NIPA leader Etibar Mammadov told APA that, no discussion was held in Coordination Council of "YeS" on cooperating with this or that NIPA and this issue was not on agenda at all: "Only one NIPA exists in the country and everybody recognizes it. Those who issue statements on discussion of this issue in Coordination Council in press want to be on focus. We will decide at the meeting of the Central Council to be held this month whether we will continue our activity in this bloc or not." Etibar Mammadov says it is impossible to hold discussion in Coordination Council on cooperating with this or that NIPA: "We do not accept conduct of such a discussion. NIPA is one of the organizers of this bloc. If we observe such a discussion on this issue, we will leave this bloc."

It should be noted that, the co-organizer of "YeS" bloc Eldar Namazov said in his statement on the meeting of Coordination Council of the bloc held on January 30 to Turan Information Agency: "The last clause of the document says that, the bloc recognizes the supporters of Etibar Mammadov as National Independence Party of Azerbaijan." Eldar Namazov also told TV channels that “YeS” decided to recognizes the supporters of Etibar Mammadov. But he refuted this statement in mass media afterward.
