Azeri Minister of Defense meets with deputy assistant of his American colleague

Defense Minister Safar Abiyev today received deputy assistant of the US Defense Minister Jim McDougal.

The press service of the Defense Ministry informs that during the meeting officials discussed issues concerning military ties between the two countries, cooperation on counter-terrorism, peacekeeping operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kosovo and Azerbaijan’s implementation of individual partnership action plan (IPAP) with NATO.
