Chairman of CEC met with US Ambassador to discuss Election results

Chairman of Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov told the journalist that, the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan were discussed during his meeting with the US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Reno Harnish.

According to him, existence of some illegalities in some polling stations was mentioned: "The general results of the elections were discussed at the meeting. The ambassador assessed positively the decision on abolishment of results in some constituencies. The US embassy will make statement on the elections soon as it implements a monitoring".
