Ambassador of Japan: “I believe elections in Azerbaijan will be democratic”

The Ambassador of Japan to Azerbaijan Tadahiro Abe told Trend about it.

«For the 9 months of my stay in Azerbaijan I saw only progress here”, the diplomat said. «Position of Azerbaijan, aimed at securing peace and stability in the region is desirable and satisfactory”, the Ambassador underlined. He voiced confidence, that the forthcoming parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan will be held under the conditions of democracy and transparency.  

There are a lot of similarities between our peoples, the Ambassador said, and underscored the necessity to strengthen the existing friendly relations between the two countries.
