AADCSA will conduct exit-poll in 1250 precincts covering 125 constituencies

The head of the MITOFSKY INTERNATIONAL Company which will lead exit-poll to be held in elections Warren Mitofsky also participated in the presentation.

The vice-president of AADCSA, head of the election headquarters of the Association Veli Alibeyov opened the ceremony and said that the project of monitoring of parliamentary elections encircles several directions: “These directions include putting forward of candidates, observation of signature gathering and registration, observation of the propaganda and agitation campaign, monitoring of printing and electron mass media means in the election period, observation of the voting process in the whole territory of the republic with participation of about 12 thousand domestic and foreign observers, holding inquiries of exit-poll type together with foreign companies and experts having great experience in conducting of sociological researches. The research will be conducted in 1250 precincts covering 125 constituencies”.

The expert on monitoring of the mass media of the AADCSA election headquarters Lala Gafarli gave information about monitoring of printing and election mass information means in the election period. She informed that monitoring was carried out in 20 papers, 6 TVs and 4 information agencies of the country.

Information spread by agencies and TVs in connection with elections was considered satisfactory. As to daily papers, “Yeni Musavat” and “Baku-Kheber” print more information about elections.

W.Mitofsky said that they will render their assistance in conducting of exit-poll in all precincts during parliamentary elections to be held in Azerbaijan and give detailed information to the media about the results: “We will learn opinions of about 100 thousand electors. We will try to give right information to you”.

It should be noted that initial results of exit-poll will be placed in the web-page of AADCSA at about 21:00-21:30 pm on the day of election. Information about winner candidates will be given on the next day of elections.
