Ilham Aliyev to pay an official visit to Moscow

President Ilham Aliyev will be on an official visit to Russia on February, 16-17.
I.Aliyev together with President of Russia Vladimir Putin will attend the ceremony to be held on the occasion of "Azerbaijan Year in Russia", bilateral talks will be held between the heads of the states in the frame of the visit.

Gennadi Yevsyukov-head of press service of Embassy of Russia in Azerbaijan informed APA presidents will discuss struggle against terror, issues of cooperation in the fields of economic-trade and humanitarian.

G.Yevsyukov stressed of the status of the Caspian Sea, Upper Garabagh problem and conditions in the region and in international arena to be the objects of discussion, too. I. Aliyev is to visit Moscow tomorrow. The next meeting of Azerbaijan-Russia Inter-States Commission is held in Moscow today and tomorrow.

The commission headed by Abbas Abbasov-first deputy Prime Minister and Viktor Khristenko-Minister of Industry and Power Engineering of Russia will discuss the implementation of issues decided in the previous meeting, expanding of relations among regions of Azerbaijan and Russia, the issues of cooperation in the fields of fuel, power engineering, transport, scientific-technical, humanitarian and others. The sides are also to submit the projects of documents to be signed during President Ilham Aliyev's official visit.
