Turkish president to visit Azerbaijan

Ahmad Nejdet Sezer, the Turkish President plans to visit Azerbaijan in the beginning of July, Turan Morali, the Turkish ambassador in Azerbaijan told Trend.
The purpose of the visit is the participation in the solemn ceremony in Sangachal terminal, connected with the filling of Baku-Tbilisi-Jeykhan oil pipeline within the realization of the 'Contract of the century'.

According to Morali, the Azerbaijani, Turkish and Georgian presidents will participate in this ceremony. The officials of the different countries, foreign oil companies, participating in the construction of the pipeline will participate in the ceremony.

The supply of Baku-Tbilisi-Jeykhan oil pipeline was planned for May, however, was postponed connected with the technical problems in the construction. The main delay is observed in Georgian territory. The construction of 3 kilometers of the pipeline will be continued in spring months, connected with the abandon snowfall.
