Winter school to be organized by AYOR for young leaders in Russia

Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AYOR) will launch the first winter school on “Leadership and active civil participation” for the youth of Russia from January 28 till February 3, 2013 in Moscow.

The school will be organized with support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan at the initiative of the chairman of the Azerbaijan Youth Organization of Russia Leyla Aliyeva.

According to member of the board of AYOR Emin Hajiyev, as part of the school, there is a plan to hold trainings, lectures, master classes with successful experts in their sphere, public figures and representatives of state structures.

The aim of the project is to develop qualities of leaders, raise the level of youth participation in important public processes and joint actions.

Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia or AYOR is an all-Russian youth organization established on April 18, 2009 in Moscow, Russia.

The main goals of the organization are: preservation of national and cultural values of Azerbaijan and its cultural heritage; support of social, creative, educational initiatives of the Azerbaijani youth; assistance to social, moral and physical development of the Azerbaijani youth; creation of conditions for more complete engagement of the Azerbaijani youth in cultural life of Russian society; propagation of healthy lifestyle, education and work; support of education and creativity in Azerbaijani language; preservation and strengthening of moral principles of family and society and assistance to strengthening of friendship, confidence and mutual understanding among nations.
