Reportage on Azerbaijan broadcasted in Italy

RAI TV Channel of Italy has aired a report on Azerbaijan. Made by the channel`s correspondent Giovanni Mazzotti, the report highlights Azerbaijan`s `white gold`- cotton-growing, carpet-weaving, Flame Towers on the Caspian Sea”.

The author praises religious tolerance in the country, as well as hails President Ilham Aliyev`s policy as successful.

The correspondent notes that in comparison with European countries gross domestic product (GDP) increased 11 % in Azerbaijan in 2008.
