Azeri pankration fighters win 6 world medals

Azerbaijani pankration fighters have garnered 6 medals, including two gold ones in the world championship in Tamasi, Hungary. Gold medals came from Bayram Shammedov and Ilgar Ibrahimov.

Bayram Shammedov also gained silver in the grappling event. Other Azeri fighter Elnar Ibrahimov ranked second in the pankration and claimed bronze in the grappling event.

Faig Rzayev also won the bronze medal in the grappling event.
