Deputy speaker: Azerbaijani authorities interested in all political parties' development

The Azerbaijani authorities are interested in the development of all political parties, irrespective of their political orientation, Vice-Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Bahar Muradova said at the round table in the ruling New Azerbaijan Party. The round table is dedicated to 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan's independence.

Azerbaijan systematically operates to preserve and promote diversity of the political scene, she said.

"Our main goal is to achieve the modernization of Azerbaijan and the further development of democracy," she said.

At present, about 100 parties operate in Azerbaijan.
