Azerbaijani frontier guards detain two Iranian smugglers

Two citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who were engaged in drug smuggling, were detained in the territory of frontier post’s service territory situated near Alar village of Azerbaijan’s Lerik region on April 11 at 00.20.

The State Border Service’s Press Center reported that 1 kg drug of heroin, pincers, lantern, knife and the mobile phone were found and confiscated from them.

The operational investigative measures are being continued on the fact.
