The Coordination Center of Azerbaijanis In Germany (CCAG) organized a protest rally on the 31 March, Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis, initiated by "Kaya" Travel Bureau in front of the Armenian Embassy in Berlin.
Representatives of Azerbaijani societies operating in Germany and Diaspora Organizations attended the rally during which they chanted slogans condemning chauvinist and terrorist policy of Armenians.
The participants made speeches on the 31 March, Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis.
Rally participants adopted a petition. They increased the European community's awareness on the Armenian brutality against Azerbaijanis demanding to give political and legal assessment to the 31 March, Day of genocide of Azerbaijanis at international level.
Informative materials on the 31 March, Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis were sent to political structures, governmental and non-governmental organizations of Germany. The petition was signed and sent to the Embassy of Armenia in Germany.
Later the same day, the Coordination Center of Azerbaijanis In Germany (CCAG) hosted a commemorative ceremony to mark the 31 March, Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis, with support of Azerbaijan Embassy in Germany.
Opening the event, executive director of the Coordination Center of Azerbaijanis in Germany (CCAG) Samira Patzer- Ismayilova informed participants about the rally held before the commemorative event and stressed the necessity of the demonstration. Azerbaijan ambassador to Germany Parviz Shahbazov provided information about March-April events in 1918.
