
Azerbaijani Ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova met with Amnesty International Researcher on Europe and Central Asia Natalia Nozadze.
At the meeting, the Ombudsman informed guests about cooperation with state agencies, NGOs, and international organizations, as well as on the activity of the Ombudsman's regional centers and specialist advisers, the Ombudsman’s Office said.
Nozadze said the Ombudsman has carried out effective work in the protection of human rights.
She inquired about the main directions of the Ombudsman’s activity, particularly in monitoring the rights of Eynulla Fatullayev, Jabbar Savalanli and Bakhtiyar Hajiyev, who are currently in prison.
