Novruz festivity for children organized in Virginia, US

Novruz celebration for children organized by the Azerbaijan Women Association (AWA) and US Karabakh Foundation was held in Alexandria city of the Virginia State, US on Sunday.

Children participating in the event were informed on the history, traditions, aim and sacred Chershenbes (Tuesdays) of Novruz holiday. The festivity featured different games, performances by children on Novruz rituals and customs.

Participants were handed booklets about Novruz holiday.
