Excellent graduates to be decorated with gold and silver medals in Azerbaijani secondary schools

Minister of Education Misir Mardanov signed a new document which reads that according to the education law, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the rules of decoration of the secondary school graduates with gold and silver medals for their achievements during the education. The school’s pedagogical council will review the candidacy of the excellent pupils presented by the form master and make relevant decision.

The pupils graduating the general secondary education level with at least 75% excellent marks and good behavior, annual excellent marks, as well as winners of different subject Olympiads, competitions and projects will be nominated for gold or silver medals.

A relevant work will be conducted together with the school principals and senior teachers to determine the excellent pupil, nominees for gold or silver graduate medals and list of those graduates should be submitted to the monitoring and assessment department of the Ministry of Education until April 15.

Decoration of the secondary school graduates with gold and silver medals in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic will be carried out by the Ministry of Education of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
