Azerbaijani Railways switches to intensified work regime

Azerbaijani Railways entered intensified work regime in connection with the Novruz holiday to be celebrated on March 20-28 in Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani Railways said on Thursday.

Azerbaijani Railways will ensure connecting 10-15, sometimes 20-30 additional carriages to trains in internal train runs in order to meet passengers’ needs amid growth in their number during the holidays.

Azerbaijani Railways transports 2,000-2,500 passengers on ordinary days, while on holidays this figure hits 4,000-5,000 passengers.
