09 March 2011 [13:21] - TODAY.AZ
Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili will leave for the U.S. on a visit on March 10, Georgian President's spokesperson Manana Manjgaladze said to a traditional briefing on Tuesday.

She said it's basically an investment visit, as Saakashvili will hold meetings on economic issues.

"The President of Georgia will meet with billionaire Donald Trump, after which an agreement will be formalized on an investment project. This will be a very serious project," said Manjgaladze.

The spokesperson said the Georgian President will also visit Washington, where he will meet with IMF Managing Director.

"It is also scheduled to have meetings in the U.S. Senate," she said.
Saakashvili intends to participate in an international exhibition CRUISE, SHIPPING MIAMI, to be held in Miami March 14-17. At the exhibition, the president will personally present the tourist potential of Georgia.
