Baku to host exhibition of Chopin posters

The Polish Embassy in Baku together with Mazowiecki center of culture and art organize an exhibition of Chopin posters (30 posters) within the Chopin Year 2010. It is the result of contest for the best poster on the theme of Chopin, the embassy told Trend.

In 2009 Mazowiecki center of culture and art together with the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and the Institute for Art Media organized a contest. It aims to create a collection of posters on the theme of Chopin. Polish prominent graphic artists attended the contest. The contest was closed.

The exhibition will be organized jointly with the Baku Slavic University. It will be opened at the Polish Language and Culture Center under the Baku Slavic University. The exposition will also be represented in the Azerbaijani Composers Union, U.Hadjibeyov Concert Hall.
