Baku emergency medical care station provided with reanimobile

Baku emergency medical care station has got a reanimobile, said chief doctor of the Baku ambulance and emergency care station Mursal Hamidov said.

A new vehicle will facilitate work of ambulance in emergency cases, he added.

"Instead of six ambulance vehicles, only one vehicle designed for 6 patients will be sent. Mercedes ambulance is available only in Azerbaijan in CIS area. This vehicle is equipped with six stretchers, respirators, defibrillators, equipment for making deliveries and first aid for burns. You can also carry out simple surgical operations n the ambulance,” he said.

The chief doctor said this ambulance vehicle is designed to improve pre-hospital medical care for sick and injured to preserve and maintain vital body functions and deliver them promptly to the hospital to provide qualified and specialized medical care.

Baku ambulance and emergency care station has only one this kind of vehicle available.

"That is enough. It will be used only for emergencies when there are numerous casualties," Hamidov noted.
