Azerbaijani chess federation chief: This should not make difference for Teymur Rajabov

President of Azerbaijan Chess Federation Elman Rustamov commented Norwegian Grandmaster Magnus Carlsen’s refusal to take part in the tournament of contenders to be attended by Azerbaijani grandmaster Teymur Rajabov.

"There is still time. As far as we know, names of all participants will be known on December 22. As to Carlsen’s refusal, this should not make much difference for Rajabov. If you want to become a champion, you need win all," he said.
