Azerbaijani arm wrestlers win 5 world medals

Azerbaijan national arm wrestling team have brought home 5 medals from the 32nd world championship in Las Vegas, USA. Rustam Gurbanov weighing in at 80 kg claimed 2 gold medals with both left and right arms.

Other Azeri arm wrestlers Minabaddin Gurbanov gained silver with right arm and bronze with left arm in the over 100 kg class, while Vadim Akbarov won bronze with right arm in the 65 kg weight category. The tournament brought together arm wrestlers from 50 countries.
