Armenian-captured Azerbaijani sergeant's letter handed over to his family

Sergeant of Azerbaijani Army Anar Hajiyev captured by Armenian armed forces on May 10, 2009 sent a letter to his family, his mother Naila Mammadova said. To her, representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) have presented the captive’s letter today. The letter reads: “Hello mom. I feel good. Do not worry about me. Say hello to relatives and neighbors and to everybody. Bye”.

“ICRC representatives told me that Anar’s condition was satisfactory”, said Mammadova.

Remind that, ICRC representatives visited Hajiyev on September 15 this year. Anar Khanbaba Hajiyev, 19, was drafted from Goranboy. On May 10, he was captured by Armenian armed forces in Fuzuli.
