International Education "Exhibition - 2010" launched in Baku

Head of socio-political department of Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov, Deputy Education Minister Elmar Gasimov and representatives of foreign universities attended the event.

Mr. Gasimov said President Ilham Aliyev pays great attention to students, who study in abroad. Deputy Minister said the exhibition allows Azerbaijani students to get important information about foreign higher educational institutions.

Ali Hasanov said the government of Azerbaijan implements strategic projects in the field of education. Hasanov said President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev always says “we must turn oil capital into human one”. Oil revenues have to be spent for development of non-oil sector and education”.

About 3-4 thousand students are expected to participate in the exhibition. The Caspian Education Center will also organize seminars.
