Iranian security forces freed Iranian diplomat kidnapped in Pakistan

Iranian security forces have conducted a full-scale operation to release and return to Iran, an Iranian diplomat Hashmatullah Atarzade, kidnapped in the Pakistani city of Peshawar, the press service of the security forces of Iran reported.

In November last year, a group of unknown kidnapped an Iranian commercial attache Hashmatullah Atarzade in Peshawar city, northern Pakistan. Armed men opened fire on his car and forced him to stop. After killing the guard, who accompanied the diplomat, they quickly left the scene with the hostage.
