Armenian President meets with U.S. Assistant Secretary Philip Gordon

As part of a visit to Kiev to attend inauguration ceremony of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with the U.S. Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Gordon.

The officials discussed issues on Armenia-Turkey relations' mending.

Sargsyan restated his country's stance on the matter outlining that Armenia is committed to the principle of reconciliation without preconditions.

Gordon reaffirmed U.S. assistance to the process.
