Iranian opposition leader attacked

Anyone tried to attack Iranian Opposition Leader and Milli Etimad Party General Secretary Mehdi Karroubi on the Ashrafi Isfahani Avenue of Tehran.  

The incident took place during his speech at the rally, taking place on the Ashrafi Isfahani Avenue on the occasion of 31st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, the source said. The police intervened in the situation and using tear gas withdrew Karrubi from the scene.
