Armenian exports reduced by 34% in 2009

According to the Armenian National Statistical service, Armenia's foreign trade turnover reduced by 27 percent as compared to last year making AMD 1 tn 467 bn. or USD 4 bn.
In 2009 Armenian export decreased by 34 percent making AMD 256.7 bn (USD 697.8 m), whereas import – by 25.3 percent reaching AMD 1tn 210.1 bn (USD 3.3 bn).

Moreover, 30.3 percent of foreign trade accounts for EU states' share and 29.6 percent — CIS countries.
