Turkey to increase energy invests by 20 pc in 2010

Energy investments will be increased by 20 percent to 3.3 billion Turkish lira in 2010 when compared to 2009.

The figures from Turkey's 2010 investment program showed that Turkey's DSI (State Water Affairs) and energy companies like TEIAS, DEISE, TEDAS and ADUAS would make energy investments of 3.3 billion TL for 127 projects in 2010.

DSI will undertake 40 projects and make the most investment in 2010. DSI's investments will rise by 16.8 percent to 1.3 billion U.S. dollars in 2010.
