Yildiz said his talks yielded positive results over carrying Turkmen gas to Turkey.
Turkish energy minister attended Wednesday an opening ceremony of a natural gas pipeline in Turkmenistan.
Taner Yildiz attended the inauguration ceremony of the Dovletabad-Sarakhs-Khangiran natural gas pipeline between Turkmenistan and Iran. He also met with Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Ashgabat.
Speaking to reporters after his meetings, Yildiz said his talks yielded positive results over carrying Turkmen gas to Turkey.
"We had a very fruitful meeting as regards meeting our own gas demand as well as providing gas for Europe and the Nabucco Pipeline," Yildiz said.
