Resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict depends only on Azerbaijan's armed forces: vice speaker

“No countries are interested in the solution to Nagorno Karabakh conflict within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan”, Asgarov said at the international conference “Security challenges in the South Caucasus: realities and prospects of regional development” in Baku.

The vice speaker said leading political forces of the world pursue double standards in Karabakh issue.

He noted that NATO quickly solved the problems in Balkans, but Nagorno karabakh conflict was entrusted to the OSCE Minsk Group.

“Minsk Group couldn’t do anything in the past 18 years. Only people and army of Azerbaijan can solve this problem”.

Asgarov said the international forces call on Azerbaijan to a peaceful solution.

“NATO Parliamentary Assembly official told me that nobody wants to set aside Christian Armenia and to help Muslim Azerbaijan," he said.
