Azerbaijani opposition appoints plenipotentiary representatives for participation in referendum

He said two agitation groups "For Karabakh and Republic" and "Republicans" (agitation group of the Musavat party) are conducting the observation.

"Currently we are appointing observers. We are also developing the plan of due measures.

The parties are planning to launch discussions due to conduction of a protest at the start of the agitation campaign", noted he.

The referendum on amendments to the Constitution is planned to be held on March 18.

The initiator of the creation of the civil movement "For Karabakh and Republic" was the Azadlyg bloc, consisting of three parties - Azerbaijan Popular Front Party, Liberal Party of Azerbaijan, Civil Development Party, as well as the public forum "For Azerbaijan". The Democratic Party of Azerbaijan, Umid Party and Musavat party as well as number of NGOs also joined the initiative.
