Rafig Aliyev: "Those, who tie registration of Abu Bakr mosque to my name, are mistaken"

"The Abu-Bakr mosque has been registered several years before me.

Those, who tie its registration to my name, are mistaken", said former chairman of the state committee for work with religious formations Rafig Aliyev.

He said the state committee was founded in 2001, after which the religious community of the Narimanov district, functioning in the Abu Bakr mosque, was again registered like other structures.

The former chairman of the state committee noted that currently the said mosque is on the balance of the Narimanov district executive powers.

As for the use of his name in different cases, connected with "Abu Bakr" and "Narimanov district religious community", according to Rafig Aliyev "someone is probably interested in it".
