The next session of the United Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan was held on Monday, reports Day.Az with reference to the press service for the party.
According to the party, the session participants discussed holding an urgent session of the party on November 22 to discuss the further actions of the party.
The session of the party analyzed the recent talks on the Karabakh issue.
The party considers it impossible to settle the Karabakh conflict by Russia's help.
"Azerbaijani lands were ceded to Armenia by Russia's help and the occupation continues owing to Kremlin's support. The statement of Armenian officials proves that occupants do not intend to return Nagorno Karabakh back.
Conduction of a referendum contradicts to all basic norms under the Constitution of Azerbaijan and means loss of Karabakh".
The party considers that Russia's influence in the resolution of the Karabakh conflict contradicts to national and state interests.
Moreover, conduction of a referendum does not provide perspectives for the resolution of this conflict on the basis of international principles. The party urges to strengthen the army potential and initiate hostilities for the resolution of the Karabakh conflict.
