Azerbaijan to support Georgia at discussions of situation around South Ossetia in PACE

The due announcement was made by head of Azerbaijani delegation in PACE, MP Samed Seidov, according to Interfax-Azerbaijan.

"Serious discussions of the issue will be held in Paris on September 5 and representatives of Russia and Georgia will inform the PACE Bureau about their positions", said he.

"Azerbaijan's position is clear. Azerbaijan recognizes the territorial integrity of Georgia and supports the resolution of all conflicts on the basis of international law".

Seidov also announced that the Azerbaijani delegation in PACE will base on these positions in the framework of the upcoming discussions of events in Georgia.
