The world chess championship among the deaf has ended in Swiss Saint-Galen.
As is reported, Azerbaijani representative Alexander Sleptsov won the championship in the contest of the deaf-and-mute with a score of 6.5 out of possible 7.
Sleptsov had 6 victories and a draw game. He defeated Croarian Dushan Pude in the final tournament.
The second place was taken by Polish Martsin Choynosvki (6.5), who lagged behind the Azerbaijani player only by additional scores and Dushan Puda was the third (5).
Unfortunately, Azerbaijani chess players did not have good results in the rest third tournaments.
