The Baku city administration rejected to sanction the Musavat party picket, it planned to hold near the administration on June 17, said head of party's central office Arif Hajili.

He noted that in a response the administration noted that it had alloted a place for Musavat party for conduction of a meeting in the Bibi-Eybat settlement on May 4 and 18. The appeal says that the city administration has allocated a place for the party and the meeting organizers should have hold a meeting themselves.
"Yet the party considers that the response does not meet the law. In line with the constitution of Azerbaijan, the meeting organizers should inform the city administration about the action conduction. The Musavat party has sent an appeal to the Baku city administration, therefore, we will hold the picket at 12:00 on July 17", noted he.
