Ganimat Zahid’s court hearing postponed again

The court hearing on the case of editor-in-chief of Azadlig newspaper Ganimat Zahid and Baku resident Vusal Hasanov has been put off by Yasamal district court.

The court told APA that the process was postponed because of health problems of the judge.

Public prosecutor wanted five year-imprisonment for Ganimat Zahid and two-year imprisonment for Vugar Hasanov.

Both defendants faced charges under articles 127.2.3 (deliberate causing of minor serious harm to health) and 221 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code.
