OSCE chairman-in-office and Armenian Foreign Minister discuss renewal of talks on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on the level of presidents

OSCE chairman-in-office Ilka Kanerva and Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan discussed renewal of talks on Nagorno Karabakh conflict on the level of Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The due information has been provided by Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan.

He added that the current stage of negotiations and possible development were discussed.

In turn, OSCE chairman-in-office, Finland Foreign Minister Ilkka Kanerva expressed his readiness to encourage negotiation process in the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group. "As an OSCE chairman-in-office, I will lead this process, but I need support of both sides", he announced and added that definite conditions should be created for the resolution of the conflict. He said the resolution of the Karabakh conflict is in Armenia's interest.
