Ziyafet Askerov: "Azerbaijan's Armed Forces fully comply with NATO standards"

The due announcement was made by Ziyafet Askerov, first deputy chairman of Milli Medjlis and head of parliamentary commission for issues of security and defense, APA reports.

He noted that Azerbaijan's Armed Forces fully comply with NATO standards.

Askerov said speaking about compliance with NATO standards that if a weapon is of high quality and durable, it is not important where it has been produced.

Askerov said the fact that Azerbaijan is not equipped with Russia's military technique, can not hinder country's accession to NATO: "It is not necessary to transform military technique by NATO standards".
