British citizen robbed of credit card with $20,000 in Baku, Azerbaijan

The due information has been provided by Day.Az with reference to the Yeni Musavat party.

As is reported, the victim has appealed to the 16th Narimanov district police station of Baku.

According to Martin, he works as an engineer at Azeri M-I company.

He was in one of the restaurants at the Fountains Square when he found that his credit card with $20,000 has been stolen. He has appealed to bank with a request to block the card, but got a response that money has already been lifted from the card.

Martin noted that so-called Khatira, with whom he had got acquainted in one of the bars, knew the code of the credit card, along with him.

The investigation is currently underway.
