Caspian Shipping Company to buy new vessels

Azerbaijan State Caspian Shipping Company plans to buy several vessels by the year-end, president of Caspian Shipping Company Aydin Bashirov told journalists.

Bashirov said that Caspian Shipping Company will no more buy vessels from abroad after shipbuilding plant is built near Baku. All ships necessary for Azerbaijani fleet will be produced in this plant.

"We are negotiating with different companies and preparing projects. The construction of the plant requires great amount of funds," he said, APA-Economics reports.
