Azerbaijan and Russia want to agree on electricity deal in December

By December 20 Azerbaijani and Russian energy officials plan to agreement on energy imports to Azerbaijan from 2007, said Azerenergy Vice-President Marlen Asgarov.

Russia's RAO EES (Unified Energy Systems) representative has submitted the propositions on energy supplies to Azerenergy. "We also submitted our propositions to RAO EES. It is premature to say anything about the deal. Everything depends on the discussion," he told APA.
