Over a million VISA cards issued in Azerbaijan

The VISA CAMEA (Visa for Central Asia, Middle East and Asia) Senior Vice-President, Lou Naumovsky said in Baku that Azerbaijan was the first South Caucasus country to reach this level. The Azeri banks have increased the number of these cards 48 times since Sept. 2003. There are 1.3 million VISA cards in Azerbaijan now.

Naumovsky said the appropriate legislative support to cashless settlements in Azerbaijan will help develop and expand the ATM card service market. Turan
