Emergencies Ministry: "Problems caused by heavy rain removed"

The rain beginning from 10.15 damaged sewerage system of the city. Dirty water grew to large ponds in Sebayel, Nesimi, Binegedi and other districts of Baku. It caused problems for transport means and pedestrians, Emergencies Ministry Public Affairs Department press service told the APA.

Emergencies Ministry sent about 40 vehicles and pumping stations to the stricken areas according to incoming calls to hot lines 101 and 112. Dirty water in front of the Government House, Shehriyar Cultural Center, Sahil subway station and Guba Square was absorbed.
