Shahriyar Mammadov to have two games with Veselin Topolov in Netherlands

The traditional chess tournament will start In Essen, Netherlands tomorrow.

Veselin Topolov who lost the game with Russian Vladimir Kramnik for chess crown held in Elista, the capital of Kalmykia will participate in the tournament, APA reports.

The Bulgarian grand master will take part in the 20th category tournament of Elders consisting of two stages.

One if his three opponents is Shehriyar Mammadov. Other two opponents are the best chess player among women Judit Polgar (Hungary) and Ivan Sokolov (Netherlands).

The tournament will end on October 28 and the winning is 10.000 euro. Resul Ibrahimov, Zeyneb and Turkan Mammadyarovas and 84 other chess players will participate in the open tournament of the festival. The open tournament consists of nine rounds. Mammadyarov will visit Russia after the tournament.

He will take part in the tournament dedicated to the former world champion Mikhail Talin on November 6.
