Novruz Nuriyev: "I confessed murdering of Rena to the release of my sister's husband"

Defendant Mehman Hasanov gave free testimony. He denied all accusations against himself.
"I am here because of my acquaintance with Haji Mammadov. I did nothing illegal," he said.

Hasanov was accused of using counterfeited documents, keeping drugs and following Leather Factory chief Ilkhan Yuluyev.

Then defendant Novruz Nuriyev gave free testimony about Rena Nesibova's death. "I met Rena through entertaining program on Space TV. I was unemployed that time and she promised to send me to Germany and Netherlands on business after some time. Then I went to Ukraine. While being there my sister phoned me and said that I was accused of Rena's death. I returned the country the next day and went to National Security Ministry (NSM). They said they will torture me if I do not confess the murdering of Rena. I confessed the crime to release my sister's husband who was detained instead of me," he said. APA
