Azeri-Italian economic intergovernmental commission to meet Oct. 20

In this connection Famiano Kruchianelli, deputy FM of Italy and head of the intergovernmental commission from Italian side are on a visit to Azerbaijan.

According to Haydar Babayev, Economic Development minister of Azerbaijan and cochairmen of the commission expanding economic cooperation, increasing trade turnover are expected to be discussed at the sitting. "We have a number of positive changes at trade turnover and this temp is very high. The trade turnover was increased by 4 times in 2006 in comparison with last year. So Azerbaijan is the richest partner of Italy in the region. We little satisfied with trade structure and we plan to discuss these issues firs of all.
